Description:
A short acoustic new song! Working on my next album nowadays. Its a very sweet, uptempo and fun song.

Lyrics:
YOu were hoping for it
to be much more
I just wanted it to be
Like they were before

Go find sweet little misery
somewhere else where i will never be

Go see if you find a sould
to cheer you up and make you hole

You are sweet
but youre such a missery

you were always pushing
way to hard
I cant really tell,
who you are

some stupid stalker
without confidencse
talking crap
making any sense

stupid spender
wasting all your wealth
You mean it well, but does that really help?

You are sweet
but youre such a misery

You are sweet
but youre such a misery

You are sweet
but youre such a misery

Great little tune there Magnus! Your voice sounds a little different on this one but still sounds great. I also love the rhythm sounds you are getting out of that acoustic guitar. The accompaniment sounds wonderful to me. This is one of your clearest, crispist recordings and I like it like that. The lyrics are a little hard to interpret some time but the main theme that you don't like this person comes through loud and clear.

The lyrics are not that well thought of... Thanks a lot for your comment!

Warm and clean. &mdash 04/07/07 - 10:36:59 AM
The first thing I noticed is how warm and clean your recording is. The guitar sounds great and, like bronco said, the rhythm sound you're getting is very cool. Totally eliminates the need for any further percussion.
Your voice also sounds very warm and good here. The only problem I could here was in the chorus. There were times when you missed the high note by just a little bit. (Who am I to blame - I couldn't for the life of me get so high) But that is just me nitpicking a little :)

A very nice little track.

yup, the recording is awesome. No quibbles there ...
more tell me how you do that? haha ...well you did
in chat, and a bit on the background to the tune ty.. share the knowledge and info.

Great fun tune, and quaint, quirky lyrics .. nothing
wrong in my book with that, how could there be .. ;o)

You still retain that spontaneity in this too which
is great. There is the odd note high note that could
be touched up .. but impressive range and tone up that
high.

Definitely a new favourite one of yours. Thanks for sharing.

As usual, I like your fun chords on your songs, this one is no exception. There is a LOT of room in here for you to sing harmony, instead of doubling your melody line... although later in the song when you doubled but sung down an octave, that sounded good too. The guitars sounded clear but a bit boomy, may want to lower the midrange a little? Upbeat song with downer-tinged lyrics, good Selters material.

Freshness &mdash 04/10/07 - 02:30:15 PM
Something wonderful and pure, innocent and bittersweet (with almost all sweet). Like a lullaby. The track has a made-up-on-the-spot freshness. Sometimes the simple ditty is the thing that reaches deepest. Like a good McCartney tune. This one reaches. Nice.

Sweetness &mdash 04/11/07 - 09:59:48 AM
Very, very nice! It has a very innocent, simple feel to it; I hear the sweetness of which you sing, but I don't hear any of the darkness that is expressed by the lyrics. Which is fine; it creates a sense of irony. Irony is good.

As bronco says, I'm not always sure where you're going with the lyrics -- the main hook is the "you are sweet, but you're such a misery," which is great! -- but they seem to turn angry suddenly, which caught me by surprise. I'm afraid I don't understand the "some stupid stalker" verse.

But, as I said initially, it is very interesting to juxtapose such a sweet tune with such dark lyrics. Good job!

Nice song.
I like how you highlighted the chorus with the very interesting harmonies.
Solid.

Clear production - great sounding guitar - very nice Beatleesque harmony on the chorus. Simple is often best!
Thanks Magnus,
Neil

I liked this a lot. Nice chords, melody. Sometimes a really simple song is quite nice

wow &mdash 04/16/07 - 02:18:54 PM
beautiful musicianship here...your influences show through, guitars come out clear and gorgeously played. I am a big fan of yours!

Your voice is fantastic - enjoyed every high note, heard a few that have a breathlessness that some might think is a missed note, but I think they are all in tune and sweet. Your range is great.

I might criticize just some of the writing (and spelling, ha ha) - and I say this only because you sound so good, your writing should match your musical talent. But the concept and hooks of the song are strong. A great song, overall!

Can't wait to hear more!
