night (78)morning. (1)
Description:
vintage Hamlet Machines Goth Pop from the early 90s. Brentford's performance, my lyrics. The "Goodnight Kids" were a french TV puppet animation series of the 60s. It left traumatic traces apparently.

Lyrics:
She remembers the hands of the Goodnight kids
First further than thunder
and then closer than flash
she feels phantom members
pushing fingers between eyes and eyelids
First further than a star
and then closer than flesh
a morning man whispers

never never give me if you want me to take
theft is softer than gift
theft is softer than the skin of your neck.

Hardware:
second-hand 4 track recorder, upright piano, cheap basses and guitars

Software:
remixed in GB3

Can't keep up... &mdash 04/08/07 - 05:38:48 AM
... with all the tracks you post, CJ - you must have a few albums in your vaults! This has a great feel to it, very Bob Smith. Dark and menacing, this creates a really stark mood - the photo is great, because it's sweet, but also quite menacing. I really love the haunting guitar that doodles throughout this in the background.

Chilling stuff.

last few tracks have been rotting for fifteen years. They sound dirt poor, more garagesale than garageband, but they are dear to me. I'll soon post the remixed "leftovers" from the hamlet machines "garageband years" so far.

No redeeming qualities

that guitar &mdash 04/08/07 - 11:56:55 AM
Once again the guitar is prodominant, good thing. But bring that voice up a couple of notches. I like your edge. It's different. And thats a good thing.
