Description:
This is a kind of weird song. Really a sound collage of loops and pieces which turned into something like a real song. I couldn't think of a third verse, so I just pasted the first at the end again. This is #10 of 52 songs for the year. The blog entry is at http//web.mac.com/... should you want to read about it.

This is different, your voice works very well, I like the accordian sound the overall soundscape is pleasant. the lyrics are expressive and interesting. Excellent overall.

This is quite good friend. Love the dark and desperate mood. Your vox really fits...similar to some of Richard Thompson's vocalisings (and that's a really GOOD thing). Nice arrangement and change-ups. Also reminds me a little of Oysterband (also a good thing). Kudos.

Be well!

I discovered Richard Thompson about 15 years ago through a friend who said, "He must be a huge influence on you." The hat, the beard, the guitar playing style, the vocal style. Before I'd ever heard of the guy, I was a young RT wannabe. I have since become a huge fan. Thanks for the comparison.

TWO "uninhabited" men? Can this be possible?

Hahaha...I've listened to ol' RT faithfully since 88 or 89. His earlier solo work was too inconsistant for my taste. (But I liked him on the early Fairport Convention albums.)

Always good to meet another fan. I sure wish "God Loves A Drunk" was Public Domain!!!

.. the vocal style and some other elements reminds me alot of "The Tindersticks" great track "The Not Knowing".

Cool song, very well built-up menagerie of sounds. Love
the accordian and bowed strings/fiddle and the overall
hypnotic effect makes it very relaxing, groovy rhythm
and nice little guitar and drum touches.
