Description:
Back in the late 70's, Brian Eno released an album called 'Music For Films'. On that record were three tracks called 'Sparrowfall 1, 2 and 3). They were short pieces and basically it was the same track reworked in 3 different ways.
Cut to 2005 - I was working on some music for a video project called Liquid Lights and I came up with these 3 pieces of music, again variations on the same thing.
I recently decided to combine them all, like Eno did - partly because I have not been able to complete the work on them as individual pieces, but also because I have grown to think of them all as complementary pieces to each other. (Thank you to Robert Shaw for the 'Lights Up' vocal)

I really enjoyed the journey... &mdash 04/11/07 - 12:20:56 AM
I really enjoyed the journey of listening to these three pieces of music.
They seemed to fit well together although the second piece ended a bit abruptly for me.
I listened to 3 old albums of Eno's over this last weekend and, as I'd never heard any of his own music since he was part of Roxy Music, the experience blew me away.
Looking forward to your next upload/s.
