why &mdash 04/14/07 - 03:42:40 PM
you all aren't livin on an island somewhere, spending the royalties from the Resolution archives is beyond me. This is simply some of the most solid alt rock on this site. Creative, accesible (w/o being formula driven), and well produced to boot. So did you guys record this stuff yourself yourselves? this one in paticular has a really polished sound.
That guitar/bass doubling thing at the end was absolutely freakin great. double wow [ Reply to This ]
Yes and Thank you &mdash 04/14/07 - 05:21:42 PM
We recorded all of these songs at our own studio in Naples Florida in 1996.
I tell ya man these were some good times. Playing original music for art sake. Just making enough money to cover our trip expanses.

Tight &mdash 04/14/07 - 06:53:09 PM
Tight, tight, tight rhythm section - must be a dream playing with a drummer like Ray! Sounds really well played all round, with some incredibly inventive stuff going on - the vocal/guitar ending is really cool. Excellent production.
Cheers,

Feels like it wants the Tower Of Power horns in there at points... &mdash 04/14/07 - 07:19:53 PM
Mini-nods to AWB, too, I think...
I like hearing rock/funk mixtures and this one fills that one...
Bass-to-drums lock is surely due to early application of the Vulan Mind-Meld...

WOW! &mdash 04/15/07 - 11:11:55 PM
From the very first verse, this song immediately gave me the impression that it is pro level! I wanna imagine listening to this live, me in the front row as you rock the crowd. This has a Prince-like vibe, but more masculine and powerful. It's been a while since I heard a rock song of this high quality at Macjams. [ Reply to This ]
forgot to mention... &mdash 04/15/07 - 11:15:47 PM
...the vocals are topnotch... great range. The vocal technique and styling are at the pro level indeed.

Oh, yes! &mdash 04/16/07 - 12:02:20 PM
I'm gonna go ahead and be very blunt, very brief and quite incoherent in this comment:
YEEEEEEEEAH!!!
I think that says all that needs to be said!
Kick-a** stuff!

All right, already... &mdash 04/16/07 - 05:32:56 PM
...just how long are we going to have to wait before we can dial back that time machine and pour down a few while we listen to this smokin' band ? Hmmm...?
The music's nice and tight (writing and performance) and I'm a big fan of your playing, Hectorious. Your guitarist's real fine, too. Funky funky stuff...

Awesome drums! What kind of kick mic where you guys using (if you remember)? I've been trying to upgrade my drum mics and will probably get a better kick drum next. Top-notch production. Cream of the crop baby. Thanks for sharing... yeah! [ Reply to This ]
