Lyrics
After The Rain, Will the sun shine tomorrow
After The Rain, Will we smile once again
After The Rain, Will we drown all our sorrows
Because after the rain, you'll still be gone

We remember your kindness, Always lending a hand
Working from dawn to dusk, Never taking a rest
Laughing and joking, With all those around
One of life's good guys, One of the best

Keybd solo

break
After the rain, ..... There’ll be no more pain
Maybe we’ll see you again....

You were a husband, a son, a father, a brother
And so much more to so many others
After The Rain, when the thunder storms end,
You wont be forgotten, you were our friend.

Guitar Solo

After The Rain, Will the sun shine tomorrow
After The Rain, Will we look back and smile
After The Rain, when we drown all our sorrows
You wont be forgotten, you were our friend.

Let the rains come
Everything about this song is good - the lyrics, the vocals,
the mix, the guitar, the bed - except the organ solo,
which is straight and slightly stilted. Consider replacing it
with a guitar, or cutting that section. I really like your
voice, the lightness, the slight country accent, it works
great. Cool ending. Nice track. 7-7-7-7.

well put together
In addition to Tobin's right-on comments, all I have to say
is I enjoyed this track very much. I particularly liked the
subtle nuances and phrasing of your vocals which fit the
equally good lyrics.

You created a feeling of sadness, yet also of hope. It is
important to acknowledge the grief of a friend's passing,
then life goes on. You delivered this message very well!

Very nice track, good job.

Comments appreciated
Thanks guys. Appreciate your constructive comments. Im not much of a
keyboard player so find soloing difficult, however I felt the piece needed
some open space in that part as a 'pause for thought'. If anyone
out there wants to have a stab at the solo for me, let me know and I'll direct
you to the backing track.
