Description
this is about my old room mate, who unfortunately went crazy, turned into a promiscous kleptomaniac and then died of a drug overdose. she was a great girl (when she wasn't busy being an idiot); so i wrote this song about her.

scott plays drums, io sings backups and plays bass. this is a ballad, and it's pretty much a rip-off of that old 50's instrumental "sleepwalk" (at least the chord progression of the verses is). This isn't an instrumental though. originally the title was explicit, as i was so angry with her (we weren't talking much when she died).

this song moved me
The description made me laugh to myself a little bit... thought you were not serious about your roommate... but maybe you really are, and that made me feel your pain. The song spoke for itself.... it has the 50's innocence yet the message can be heartbreaking. I love the overall mood... very deep affectionate... and disturbing as well.

Great sound overall - really good
the vocals nail the emotional exhaustion of a story like this. Sweet guitar playing and excellent bass and drums. A first rate composition.

Typical
Glad to hear another great production from you. I agree with Leon about the 50's innocence and disturbing parts at the same time.

How's that baby doing? I wasn't expecting you to have so much free time actually.

Take care.

thanks so much
baby is doing great. i actually haven't had a lot of free time, so I keep upoading stuff that i did recently (right before the baby i went crazy recording); or stuff that I had on 4 track or whatever that i have been fixing up on GB. i can re-mix one pf my own songs in a couple hours free time; but as far as "brand spankin' new" goes, i've been working on something off and on now for a week. i'm glad you stopped by, and glad you like the song; means a lot. i never got into music for money: it was all about the girls, and acceptance from my peers :)

Girls and Peers
It looks to me like you got the girl(s) and quite a few fans.

Glad to hear everything's going good for you. Those free moments will be nothing but a memory soon! But ahhhhh, the smell of a baby ...... (certain times are better than others, obviously).

Keep posting your old stuff. I'm digging it.

You
captured the 50's atmosphere here. Teen angle comes to mind first and there were some others as well. If this was there then you would have made a top hit.

Long live rock and roll............. r
