Wow &mdash 04/18/07 - 12:52:41 PM
Love the great surround sound of this song.... enveloping.. chilling...ominous... like a storming about to explode.. hypnotic and eventually pulls you to a trance-like state.... big big thumbs up! [ Reply to This ]
Thanks Leon &mdash 04/18/07 - 12:56:54 PM
Like it... &mdash 04/18/07 - 01:11:56 PM
Cool stuff Alex, like to hear it with vocals too, kinda of that 9-inch nails sound to it, with some lighter variations in the middle to mix it up rather well. [ Reply to This ]
Flattering &mdash 04/18/07 - 01:21:59 PM
comparison (speaking of NIN). Yes, the same old prob with having no convenient singer yet.
Thanks M.J. [ Reply to This ]
very spacey &mdash 04/19/07 - 09:00:40 AM
The title is apt. I can see an astronaut floating around aimlessly in space when I listen to this. The mix seems a little "heavy" to me - I think it would be more effective if the soundscape were more layered (maybe some different reverbs /compression on the separate tracks), but overall the arrangement keeps things flowing well. Cool start. Let me know when you get vocals on this.

Helpful advice &mdash 04/19/07 - 09:26:57 AM
You are right, actually the single notes and instruments somehow stick to each other and could become clearer. I will work on this. The fight for vocals surely will become the biggest obstacle. [ Reply to This ]
Like that drum? &mdash 04/19/07 - 01:22:19 PM
If thats what you can call it. I think it could use a little more filling in it, but the synths work out pretty nicely. [ Reply to This ]

Heavy &mdash 04/22/07 - 10:49:58 AM
Love the way the synth wraps around the beat. You are right some vocals would be excellent on top of this mabye female. Excellent arrangement!!!! [ Reply to This ]
Female or male &mdash 04/22/07 - 11:35:00 AM
thanks egobandit. I'm still undecided ... male or female ... but in default of any singer, I wouldn't be picky. [ Reply to This ]
darky &mdash 04/22/07 - 03:51:00 PM
this sondz very good to me and maybe you can punch harder on that bass drum... A deeper drum [ Reply to This ]
Yes, I will &mdash 04/23/07 - 03:07:18 AM
have to turn on the compressors and punch the drums and synths. The track needs several tunings and to be worked out properly ;) Thanks for your advice, craft. [ Reply to This ]

love the beat and the j-m j vibe &mdash 05/17/07 - 08:38:03 AM
U seem to be into the same genres i am. but more french in a way. the beats are alternative and very european. the melodies and instruments are very Jean Michelle Jarre like. Nice progression of the melodies, pro stuff! It shows that u take the time to finish a track. There is a lesson to be learned for me there. Another good one. [ Reply to This ]
French &mdash 05/17/07 - 09:51:28 AM
interesting comment ... you wrote about the french way ... which french bands (beside J-M J) do you have in mind? Meanwhile I did listen to some of your tracks, yes we are somehow addicted to the same genre and those crude 80ies retro sounds. [ Reply to This ]
*0's revival &mdash 05/20/07 - 11:58:55 AM
Yeah Alex, this has an 80's kinda vibe ... parts reminded me of Gary Numan. A pretty dark track, with a very cinematic feel ... scary stuff.
Nice work man.

80ies child &mdash 05/23/07 - 12:22:51 PM
as a child of the decade i'm pretty addicted to that electronic stuff, and i have ro say, i especially like the earlier 80ies synthie pop era. but i really love to listen to handmade (which makes more than 50 percent of my CDs). thanks, again [ Reply to This ]
electronic dreams &mdash 05/23/07 - 11:41:02 AM
This is big and "sproingy". I like the weird percussive twangs, coupled with the big dreamy synth washes... creates a rather eerie feeling, and the piece is very well-put together. I almost want a little more deep-bass-twangy echoey stuff, but that is pretty minor. This is good in a mind-stretching unusual way. The photo is certainly unsettling too.

unsettling &mdash 05/23/07 - 11:51:50 AM
thanks for stopping, drakonis ... the song was intented to be a kind of unsettling, so at this point i scored a goal. Yes, maybe i should work out the bass. thanks for your comment. [ Reply to This ]

ok maybe THIS is my favorite tune of yours.
very sci-fi landscape gives way to a nice emotionless expression. again, my type of language! good sounds, too, btw [ Reply to This ]
dirty electro &mdash 09/17/07 - 02:22:45 AM
andrew, thanks for popping in again ... this song is another try to create a dark, dirty, dull electronic soundscape ... hard to disguise, that i somehow stuck to the 80ies.
meanwhile i listened to some of your cool electro creations ... I got familiar with this (ladytron-ic) sound from the very first listen. More to follow ...
