Description
it's totally unfinished, kind of ambient, psych,... i was going for a sigur ros sort of vibe; and then got lost. there are vocals on here, but not really eq'ed; just plopped down in the mix. it's the same vocal passage cut and pasted around the "song." there is like 7 and 1/2 minutes of stuff to fool around with.
if interested, let me know and i'll send the file. alternately, just let me know if it's a big waste of time (i can't tell anymore). it's wierd, i usually just improvise when making up songs, and this one is going nowhere for me.
(edit) actually here is a link for the GB file if anyone wants to download it and have a go at it. just let me know when you post it and please put a link back to the original so people can compare the 2:

...both times with the goal of figuring out what could be "done to it" to make it better, and both times I got lost in it, letting it play while I let my mind wander (where it will go?). I can't help but wonder (as I listen to it for the third time...) if, perhaps, it ain't broke, so why try to fix it? you could certainly do a Sigur Ros vibe on it - bringing in some wicked Floyd-like drums and dramatic guitar, maybe? or some chord change that will make your head spin? - but maybe it just needs small tweaks...But, hey, what do I know? I like this. Unfinished or not - it's been downloaded. Smooth.
