Suspended time! Thank you for a great expression! Mind if I use it for a song title in a future post?

I don't know if I have mentioned this... &mdash 04/21/07 - 03:09:37 PM
...but you playing reminds me of Phil Keaggy! This is a wonderful piece. It has a nice "breathing" quality. A natural rhythm. Again, marvelous piece.

Thank you. Didn't know who Phil Keaggy was but his homepage philkeaggy.com was easy to find. He has many sound snippets there. But really, he is awesomely good musician and guitar player .. I get the feeling that he can do all the things I can't, but would want to do. So the comparison is too kind.

But his musical feel I can understand to a hundred percent. He has a taste and a feel that talk stright to my heart! So in that respect you are hitting the mark perfectly! Thank you for showing me to a new favourite!

I love this... &mdash 04/21/07 - 09:11:53 PM
This is the sort of playing that I seek out in record stores and at least USED to go out to listen to in clubs and coffeehouses, back in my pre-parental days...

I'm not hearing any trace of the phase anomalies that were popping up on the last post... This is very clean and clear, well articulated, and still sounds confidently exploratory on your part...

I'm so glad you're out there doing this...

Fran and I continue to pray for a visit...

Ed

Hi Littleton folks Ed and Fran above and below. Thanks again for your sweet comments. I have often found it difficult to respond to your overwhelming support with just words, and often I have felt that I instead want to dedicate music to the Littleton MJ:ers. Yesterday I made the first one, and the reason I haven't posted that one is that I don't want to load you with too many posts in a short time. So, just a few days and there will be a Littleton tribute.

amazing as always. For me, when things get a little chaotic and I need to chill a bit, listening to your music always does the trick.

Thanks Johannes

Not bad! &mdash 04/22/07 - 04:41:55 PM
Nice pickin but could be a little more solid in parts! Maybe another take would suffice! Keep crackin those corn flakes herb and keep practicing that guitar!

[ Reply to This ]
Yes it could &mdash 04/25/07 - 11:24:44 AM
Hope to be able to POP some corns in the future too!

And yes, it could certainly be more solid in parts. The problem is that this is a kind of one-shot tune. One I did once and that I will probably not play again. New things will come instead.

Another fine piece from you Curry - in general, a really good listen, but I especially liked some of the little humourous notes, bends and tremelos (etc) you throw into the mix.
Cheers,
Neil

finger lickin good &mdash 04/24/07 - 07:54:03 PM
Cori, nice tunage. Its rather intense. You've captured that element of Katch rather well. Tight, focised playing. Thought the last section where you go a little off the reservation was the best, and then you slide right back in with the main theme. Well done

I thought I'd left a comment... you could take all my other comments... about how I admire your ability to coax music from the wood and steel... and deliver a glimpes of your heart in the process... and use them here, because they still apply

what tuning did you use??

bravo and a bow my friend
