This is a New mix of the idea. It still not 100% but I feel that it flows better.

In this song I just kept the bass playing in the pocket. I did the same playing the solo on bass. I'm not a not-tie soloist. When it comes to soloing on bass I like keeping it simple. Its a hard thing to hold back when you want to say so much. But the space between notes is so beautiful and that my friend is a groove.

THIS one has a sweetness to it, and is probably the more 'professional' mix... particularly sweet and vocal-like line on the bass... Sounds like it comes from the heart...
The mix as a whole is very even, very silky... I like the sound on the snare in this context...it really works for this tune...
I still hear almost-words, and I think that's a good thing... It doesn't sound LACKING, it just sounds like it wants to sing...

Simpeler is betterer. Ok what Im saying is you are right Not having a note fill everytime space makes a difference. Being a bass player myself I need to remember that. I am very into the bass lately.
I've been a guitar first guy a long time and I always here bass in my head.
So i finaly got me a bass and loving it. I have some bass inspired tunes, one that i did with another Mjer called 'sBassy Brew'
check it out if you get a a chance.
You got a great work here in that nothing is crazy and all is very fine.

It's like floating on little white clouds watching people wandering about doing their everyday stuff underneath me. The alternating synth is supporting the feeling of this.
Cool how you make the bass play the melody.

Very sweet and moving. I like the touch of synth that adds the techie brightness to it, a lnice counterpoint to all the tape warmth that just spills from the track. I am also a BIG fan of noodling bass leads, I think they are very underutilized....nice job with it, it really drives the vibe.

with the drums and the soft synth. Like that soft guitar panning, the influx of electrical gizmo synth adds to it as well.
The chorus guitar sound is very delicately done here as well.
This is a very nice composition. The marching beat is very infectiously done, Catchy.
This tune is a radio grabber for sure.

Really into the depth between the layered textures. Lots of room. I'm hoping to be able to achieve this kind of effect as I get more into GarageBand.
