Description:
it is "sequence0x01" revisited.
east+west. pentatonic ambience punctuated by rhythmic sequences. initial output was sub-optimal. michael2 feedback integrated to create this version 0x02: added a start and an end, repeated specific sections to lengthen piece, altered timbre and equalization for wider frequency spread, added occasional temporal timbre envelopes to decrease monotony. changes are an attempt to increase pleasure.

it's obvious to me &mdash 04/23/07 - 03:41:40 PM
that you took michael2's feedback seriously. I didn't mind the length of 0x01 and I do like the clicking in that composition. This one has an entirely different feel to it and I think you were successful in your attempt to increase pleasure. [ Reply to This ]
Arrhythmia &mdash 04/23/07 - 04:13:22 PM
increased pleasure there has caused increased pleasure here. is it acceptable to receive such pleasure? it is sincerely appreciated. there are many things to learn here. feedback is the ultimate heuristic. 0x0 [ Reply to This ]
weird, soothing, disturbing &mdash 04/23/07 - 04:27:51 PM
it sounds like an arranged marriage between form and matter. The form didn't comply to normal standards, the matter never tried to. Fascinating little piece. Keep em coming! [ Reply to This ]
disturbance in the form &mdash 04/23/07 - 05:56:51 PM
where there is matter, it requires storage space, and must conform to some shape or form. if there is no form, then it doesn't matter. it is a required marriage. a shotgun wedding. it is meant to be subliminally disturbing, with small areas of pleasure between. it is like life. 0x0

I like experiments &mdash 04/23/07 - 07:14:24 PM
This kept my attention. And I can also listen to this as an ambient piece as well.
The production is very good and the elements are well balanced in the stereo space.

life is an experiment &mdash 04/23/07 - 09:36:57 PM
it is good to know that the elements are balanced in stereo space... and that this is a background ambient piece. i learn from experimentation. controlled randomness is exciting. a kind of monte carlo stimulation. 0x0

temporary respite &mdash 04/26/07 - 05:17:47 PM
it is rare to achieve world peace, even if fleeting, and even if only internally perceived. it is a healthy cleansing feeling, and a welcome surprise to have communicated to you. your comment here has created peace here. hopefully another peace will be written soon. 0x0

to listen and enjoy is as satisfying as creating and receiving a comment. it is a sweetness in the heart. many bits of appreciation are offered in return. 0x0

Atmospheric &mdash 05/20/07 - 12:33:13 PM
The timing makes me think of water dripping in a cavern... actually, a lot of it makes me think 'cavern'. I like that this evokes a vivid and peaceful place. [ Reply to This ]
spelunk &mdash 05/20/07 - 01:02:11 PM
it is a good word. it seems onomatopoeic for the sound of water in a cave. large dark spaces are evoked in this music. the experiment is successful. thank you. 0x0

What a remarkable &mdash 09/06/08 - 01:24:18 PM
person you are. first, I take delight in your compositions and then I take more delight in your responses to others' comments. Paraphrased: "shotgun wedding" between form and matter...and... Life: subliminally disturbing with small areas of pleasure in between.

remark of char &mdash 09/06/08 - 04:00:56 PM
a remark is a beautiful gift for a work of music. thank you for so many remarks. it is a delight if you read my remarks and enjoy them. perhaps the remarks become remarkable with your help.
Now is a good time to be zen. thank you. 0x0 [ Reply to This ]
