BIG!
A pretty full-on production here Doofus! Lots of interesting and unusual sounds, and a stack of things happening.
Getting images of very large mechanical beasties creating havoc somewhere. One nearly jumped out of the left channel 3/4 way through.
Good stuff!

Yeah
Head bobbin goodness. Very sonically satisfying. There was even a part in there that sounded like birds cooing. I really dig it.

great stuff
this is one heaving, gurgling, psychotic baboon of a song. And I mean that in a good way. Love the textures and arpegios. Did Reason have anything to do with the production, I thought I recognised a few of the synthesisers in there.

Good God Man
I need to take a page from your production book - you know how to make a song burst from the speakers and sit in your lap, talkin' 'bout "what's up?"

You make atonal SEXY!

agree!
This has a very urgent quality -- it's creeping up behind me... left ear, then right ear, then it's blowing on the back of my neck. Spooky good. I like the strange spaces you create for each instrument; one is far away, another is above, another to the left and right, etc. etc. Your production skillz iz makin' me jealous, yo.

Rumble!
Lots of activity in the low frequencies here. Not that the other frequency ranges have anything to complain about. This is a pretty well-wrought arrangement. Many ingredients, and still never muddy. Very well done. This was a pleasure to listen to.

Last updated 5-4-2009: Doofy, aka The LAE, is now (unofficially) retired. After 5 years and 200+ tunes, and most importantly, a 14-month old, I figured it's time to hang it up, so to speak. While I'd not say I'll never release another tune, I ... [see more]
