Description:
This the same guitar fingerstyle sound. I enhanced the wind sound and added strings etc.
* I was inspired by dajama's comment:
..as ever. I am in awe of your touch. Ambient and atmospheric in the best sense of the word. I have a tendency to add rather than subtract, so I couldn't help but hear strings (of the chamber orchestra variety) coming in just after the halfway point. But that's just me. Sweet piece. Downloaded and added to my morning playlist. Nice.
Thanks dajama!

I'm not sure I can improve on what dajama said :-)

I think I missed Wind 1 - but nevertheless, very nice to run across this track so early in the day. Always a sweet touch, Bill - I especially like the sparkling harmonic work on this piece. Crystal reflections that usher in those glassy strings; a brilliant contemplative piece.

At first, I thought the strings weren't necessary, but they did add some depth and shimmer to the last section of the piece. Wonderful, relaxed pacing and inflection throughout the whole song.

Filling up my hard drive with multiple songs and multiple versions...
I continue to think that you've done a much better than usual job at using the wind noise and not have it sound like white noise... Strings come late and sparsely, and tastefully, although I'm not sure which way I prefer...
What the heck. I come to your stuff for the guitar playing first and foremost and the guitar playing continues to be excellent...

I think it is a special occasion when you come by. I really enjoy your comments!
I know working in a music store had helped you really be well rounded in so many people's music here.
Thanks for that.

always of the gentle nuanced touch you bring to creating music. Your family must sit around in awe every time you start to noodle. Also, where do you get all these cool pictures to post with your music. Oh so subtle strings in the mix. Stunning on all counts.

I get them at Dreamtime.com.
It's a lot of fun to pic em out with the story of the tune in mind.

I am never, never disappointed when I listen to your pieces. You've captured a certain wistfulness here that really makes this one stand out. A very free-form feel here and it works extremely well.

so sweet to post notsosweet. And am looking forward to your next one.

it is a dichotomy. the guitar brings warmth and sunshine. however, the sound of wind is chilling. the photograph adds to the immersion into the musical world. it is a style and dextrous ability of guitar playing that is a delightful surprise to discover. more of your pieces must be listened to. it is like an oasis in a desert. such sweet playing. there is thirst for more. 0x0
