Well!
Apparently leading this rag tag gang of moped riders includes playing the guitar insanely quickly.

Very nice, varied arrangement and I love the quiet bridge. That's when the guys throw down their mopeds and sleep under the stars, right? ;-)

I hope you take this further. It would be cool to hear this with drums, bass and a singer, at the very least.

Loved it and downloaded. Thanks for posting it.

Love the strumming, almost sounds like singing in parts. Excellent ending. Welcome to MacJams. And thanks for sharing.

Nice driving strumming
interesting bass sounds on the lower strings as well. Thanks for describing the story about the tune.

Like the higher contrasts at the end as well.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice work - nice progression
I really liked how the high notes pulled the melody through some of the sections. Great drive - kinda Kotke. Is this a twelve string?

Welcome to MJ!
Ah, the dreaded moped gang out and about :)
Like the use of chords here - I've always enjoyed this style of playing.

well that's a cool ride
Oh man, you have a real moped! Now I just feel dumb. In real life, my moped experience is limited to renting some vespas from a guy on the beach in Washington. For one beautiful day, we were a gang. Then my wife flipped into a sand dune (her gang name is now Sand Dollar), broke the side mirror, and we lost our deposit (that's the pain part described above). We had a blast, but from the looks of your photo .. you sir, are living the dream!

Thanks for stopping by, and listening. I've still gotta thank LeDebutante for pointing people over here - and do some listening and commenting of my own!

"Vince" ....
.... is my daughter and son-in-law's Vespa - a showroom condition 1968 model which I'm "looking after" for them on a long term basis. I've had Vince since Christmas and will probably keep using him until they move down here from the city in around 4 years - then I'll get a proper bike :)
One thing I've discovered is that 1968 Vespas don't have great brakes :( But a lot of fun!
Cheers,
Neil

Nice guitar sound
and nice chords. Have you thought about developing it further and adding lyrics and such? The melody is kind of there in the guitar already...Nice.

woohoooo
Loved the feeling of the wind in my teary eyes... riding my Puch (Austrian Moped)... those were the days... huh? Oh sorry, I was taken 20 years away with the music. This is great, full of power and a bit of beauty, wonderful playing. It does really ache for a bittersweet story-lyric sung over it. Viva El Mopedo, and Welcome!

Nice...
I wanna be in a moped gang! Now where's my goggles. As others have stated lovely playing, great acoustic sound, nice bridge. I as well would like to see this developed into a full production. Reminds me of Tim Reynolds.

Bravo!
Wow! Great rhyhmic git-track! As I listen I can hear bass and drums and lead guitars in my mind's ear! Do you plan to add other instruments? I'd love to hear this given full on production. But even as is this is a gem. Welcome to MJ and thanks for the intense tuneage man!

Be well!

I LOVE rhythm guitar...
...and in fact, I've been working, off and on, on some stuff in something like this vein with David (perceptalvortex) adding contrapuntal drumming madness...

I can certainly hear drums on this, and certainly bass, and yeah, Lisa's write, there could be singing, and Amagi's right, lead guitar would suit it, too...

Reminds me of Richie Havens, with richer voicings...

Very nice...

Ed

Wow, that sounds really romantic, roaming the country with your gang, and this sounds like the perfect ballad for it. Great playing ... oh but i'd like to hear lyrics and voacls on this.

Nice work, and welcome.

Well...
I feel like a jerk for not finding this one for so long. Sorry elmopedo.
Anyway, this is some mean playing my friend. You could really branch out with this one if you wanted. Your strumming is awesome. Hope to see you around with more tunes.

Take care and congrats on a great song.

Peace.
