Description
This is a song about being okay with whatever comes my way. It's still a little melancholy sounding (that's what I do) in a George Harrison, Elliot Smith sort of way. This mix was done really fast, and I didn't add a bass (the organ added bottom end). It's pretty lo-fi sounding, but I like the song.

Prolific dude
Man, you are one prolific dude. This is a nice, laid back groove. I love the Harrisonesque guitars, and the chord progressions throughout. Nice sentiment. Do miss the bass, though. And is that strings I hear, kicking in about halway through? Or is that just me? This is nice work. Sweet.

thanks man
yeah, i think you're right about the bass. i just wanted to do a pop song without bass. maybe i need to beef up the bottom end with a different organ playing the bass notes. no strings on this one, maybe it's wierd phasing with the back-ups. thanks for listening.

Sweet
It took me only a second or two to be reminded of George Harrison. Something off his Cloud 9 album?

Anyway, this is a wonderfully moody song. My compliments.

unstoppable...
you really have a gift for melody and harmony... not even becoming a new dad and walls of dirty diapers can stem the tide of your inspiration... this is really nice. It is sort of lo-fi, but I like the slide-work, and the chord progressions are very Beatles-like indeed. This is worth re-recording and beefing up a bit, definitely a winner here!

hey drak
good to hear from you. yeah this one sounds rough, but just wanted to get the song out. i would like to re-record this one, but it will have to wait until i have the time to sit down with a real drummer. i'm glad that you approve, that's a real compliment.

Musicallly
This is one of your most interesting songs. Mysterious and beatlesque chord progressions and brilliant melody. Perhaps could use another verse? I could relate to the theme, though I think we can all change the world a teeny bit from the solitude of our computers. Latter

hey man
glad you like this one. i should re-record this with real drums, but then I'd need to find some time and remember the guitar chords.

As usual
Brilliant! I find it particularly strange that you make such amazing music at home but it is immediately dismissed by mass media and recording companies - even though it is vastly more dynamic and superior to what they are putting out. We sure live in a silly world.
