It's a 600 The gizmos in all of the 'electric' guitars are the same, it's just variables in the build quality. This is a 600 which is worth the extra. It's got a really nice maple neck and fingerboard, definetely as good as a strat neck. Check out my latest song called Xmas 2008

this fantastic piece of genius only makes me wish line6 would make a left handed variax.... wonderful tune, but only makes me more envious of all you righties out there, going into guitar center, and playing whatever guitar you wanna....AARRRGGG!!!..
