Description
This is in the vein of Pink Floyd and John Lennon, but not classic rock sounding. I like the song, it's got a sense of resignation and melancholy paired with a melody. Originally it was all guitar, but i lost one of the tracks and it was easier to just play synth. some echo and a fuzz pedal makes anything sound good.

Lyrics
i'll unlock the door
i'll wait up for you
i won't go unless you call
i won't take away
anything that's yours
i won't go away unless you call
the walls are closing in
and all our love lies wrinkled on the floor today
i can't stand the pain
i can't take the way
everything i had is gone
was it worth the pain?
was it worth the things that you found out?
everything is wrong
everything is wrong right now
so long
it's all over
not the way i'd always dreamed of
it's gone
it's all over
not the way i thought
that everything would go today
i'll wait up for you
i won't go unless you call
i won't take away
anything that's yours
i won't go away unless you call
the walls are closing in
and all our love lies wrinkled on the floor today
i can't stand the pain
i can't take the way
everything i had is gone
was it worth the pain?
was it worth the things that you found out?
everything is wrong
everything is wrong right now
so long
it's all over
not the way i'd always dreamed of
it's gone
it's all over
not the way i thought
that everything would go today

...where Big Star (Chris Bell, really) meets Syd Barrett...
I love the droney psychedelic charm of this. Neat almost mellotronic use of the synth.
The song has a lovely melancholy feel, and lots of fun sounds popping in around the edges. My only mini-crit is a buzz that comes and goes... in the headphones it gets in the way of the listening a little...
I'm very pleased to be introduced to your stuff, though, and will check out more...
