Description:
After browsing the discussion of "loops as art" in the forums a while ago, I felt inspired to take loops and make something totally new, unlike anything else. Whether or not I succeeded is your call. Okay, so I cheated a bit and used Supa Trigga to slice and dice the loops, but hey.

Please vote, but more importantly, comment, eh!

Lyrics:
This is a song of loops
I hope you don’t mind it
if there’s a sim’lar song
out there I dare you to find it

I know your problem with the loops
is simple to point out
But your three-chord guitar
its seeming awful worn-out

cause when your draggin up the loops
its like strummin the chords
the music you create is what your
spirit affords

cause if you don’t put it in
it will not want to come out
so just keep loopin the loops
and just keep shoutin the shouts

Hardware:
eMac, mAudio Duo, Hand-Held Microphone.

definitely arty luupz &mdash 08/14/04 - 06:08:15 PM
This song is very innovative and cute. Glad you posted the
lyrics though because they were hard to
underunderunderstandandandand with all the echoes.
Neat effect though.

I like the chopped up drums. Serve over crackers at
teatime.

Thanks Cameron &mdash 08/14/04 - 08:08:02 PM
Yeah, I've touched the song up since I posted it and getting a bit less echo is
one of the things I fixed. And then I noticed I can't change it since I uploaded
it. Oh well. If you want the final mix you're gonna have to buy the album
(teehee).

Nice loop handling! &mdash 08/14/04 - 07:22:03 PM
You makin' fun of the only three chords I know?
Heheh!

I like the mood of this song, I also like the rhythmic
variation and the vocals are nice and weird!

I recognize those drum loops! You son of a gun! Fosod's
'telephonez'... no three-chord guitar though. That must
be a critique of someone else.

Obivously, I found this point particularly poignant.

Good for you. You're right!

Damn you're right. You even slowed it right down. Luckily the feel
of
your song and mine are completely different. (Phew!)

Thanks for the comment!

I like both tracks from Fosod and you.... maybe you both
can mix them together. a pooey fosod mix.. both of you
could try to remix using both tracks.. see what you come
up with.

Hey you're supposed to say you like mine better! Teehee, just kidding.
Thanks for checking out my tune, BL.

Messin' with my mind &mdash 08/27/04 - 10:37:50 PM
Now what am I supposed to think about this song? I can't
sing it in church, can I? That is problematic. Nevertheless,
I like it. It's mellow, balanced and stereoscopic. Should be
required listening for corporate board rooms.
