Description
i was messin around with the begninning riff on my guitar and figured that it sounded musical, and i recorded it thru gb and from there it evolved, i messed around with some filtering and spacing, what is interesting about this is that the guitar was recorded live thru the small mic on my ibook, pretty good quality for being so small i think ... i like how the percussion adds a different speed especially with the hand drums ... i tried to create something beautiful with every note making a difference with each emotion the song develops ... tell me what you think!!

nice song
i really like this. kind of reminiscent of Boards of Canada. really nice stuff, the only thing i would add would be something on the bottom end (bass, single organ notes,...). But that could just be a taste thing; i think it's great the way it is, but the bottom end would make it even better.

Very nice
I love the build - the way each step brings in some other sound, and another feeling. I see what you mean about the drums - puts a who9le new spin on it. Very unexpected chord there right in the middle, as if a jazz odyssey is about to begin, and then the song slips back into its nice groove. I see what michael2 means about Boards of Canada (I'm a huge fan). This is sweet. Downloaded. Nice work.

jazz odyssey
haha thanks for the comments ... the chord is a Bb Maj7 and its just a tad off beat, which brings a nice touch i think ... i'm glad you like it

very tasty
I l;ike the way everything compliments the other elements, very melodic and pleasing. For a tiny mic, the ibook mics do quite well, but a $100 condensor mic would bring much more richness to the recorded guitar .
great track!
