Another wonderful soundscape..... &mdash 05/05/07 - 01:55:29 AM
I think that all your music describes various scenes from life and this piece is a perfect example of that.

France comes to mind, turn of the century (19th/20th) with the scene in Paris, someone outside a cafe, watching life go by whilst enjoying a cup of coffee and a warm croissant with butter, watching the new fangled cars and carts compete for space on the road.

(Spring-time yes, but the picture that this tune makes for me could be any time of the year).

If I had as many fingers on each hand that you seem to have, I've hope to play a tenth as good as you play.

Excellent.

Paul.

I love France and I have been trying to learn French (so far with very limited success), but will keep trying anyway. I am glad you enjoyed it.

Beautiful!

This one has some Chopin mood.... Funny, as mentioned from Paul, I have the picture of the cafe in my head too...

Thank a lot for sharing!

...by trade. I was watching her tooling around in our backyard as I listened to this.

Beautiful garden.

Beautiful song.

Spring... &mdash 05/08/07 - 09:56:49 PM
Ok, Vivaldi. Now you must complete the cycle with Winter, Summer, and Autumn. That's your homework!

Very delightful, as are the other things I have listened to. (We two need to start the piano revolution here at MacJams!) You have an obvious and compelling joy for the piano and it comes through in your playing. Choosing older styles lends to the charm of your compositions. Bravo again.
Peace.
Paul
(P.S. California? We have even more in common that I'd thought.)

good to hear from you again. You are a professional musician right? If no I would be very surprised. I am glad you liked it. Thank you.
