Great stuff. Very mellow and soothing. I havn't heard the other version yet, so I'll have to check it out. You play very beautifully.

As the sun streams into my morning window I listen, your guitar vibrates and emanates complimetary sounds to my mood and surroundings, cool!

It's kind of interesting to see which one might get the nod on this. Cause sometimes adding nature sounds can get a bit finicky in listener's likes and dislikes.

Doesn't require... &mdash 05/06/07 - 01:58:59 PM
...nature sounds Bill, as the music evokes sights and sounds from nature in the mind's eye and ear...Guitar composition and playing sublime as per usual. Two huge thumbs up!

Be well!

Isn't this cool... &mdash 05/06/07 - 04:55:07 PM
...no sooner do I say that I don't want it to end, and then I see this!

I'm not a purist...and I loved the "with nature" version. I must say, though, that I like this one a shade better. Lets my imagination get a bit looser and take me to different places...

Just my humble opinion, though...

Awesome &mdash 05/07/07 - 01:23:42 PM
It stands alone just fine; the simplicity without the nature sounds makes it even more relaxing. I like the nature sounds too; either way it works, just with slightly different feels. Amazing playing.

Love the pause on the harmonics - must try playing in this tuning sometime - it has a really nice feel to it.

Excellent song and playing. I am partial to this style, as this is the style I learned and aspired to during my early years of playing guitar. Of particular note Don Ross was a huge influence on my early development. However, somewhere along the line I fell into playing electric. To me, and this song is a classic example of what I am about to state... this is what i feel epitomizes the true heart of musianship and guitar playing. Enjoyed the listen!

lovely piece - I'm also in two minds about nature sounds - I recently did some recording in a tent and therfore the sound of rain and the trees blowing was unavoidable, but hopefully dont get in the way
