Description:
A work in progress with my friend George Gostovich. Trying to write a good pop song...like They Might Be Giants ...I guess there should be a bridge but I kind of like it short and sweet too.

I like the feel but lead vocal needs reworked-lacks emotion & conviction-is it realllly sunnnnnyyy?sell it!
think length is fine, short and sweet-a fine beginning that can be improved greatly with a little touch up here and there.

like the disaffected vocals. it almost sounds like a ramones song to me, or johnny thunders. i guess it's the 60's girl group vibe. great chorus. at the end do you say "let's all stare into the sun" ? i hope so. do you remember that old dana carvey skit: "in my day we didn't have movies; you wanted to see something, you stared at the sun."
all the fake endings were pretty cool too. [ Reply to This ]

short pop songs are an admirable goal - I'm into it myself lately. Check out Sally. I hear a little Michael Stipe in the chorus. [ Reply to This ]
