Sort'a reminds me of early Dixie Dregs (that's a good thing)-a bit long winded in the intro but moves very well and is well balanced-no distortion noted on my end either!

Good guitar sound &mdash 05/09/07 - 07:21:24 AM
and nice, catchy riff - especially the opening. Very good playing on everything here. Kind of reminds me of The Bluetones - not any particular song, just that sound. Also no distortion noticed here, except the kick drum seems to be a bit thick in my crappy computer speakers. Nice work. Are you planning to add lyrics? Cheers.

yeah im planning to add lyrics, ive got a melody down so now i just gotta make up some words. Strange about the distorion I can hear, maybe the kickdrum is just too loud or something.

Nice guitar work &mdash 05/09/07 - 08:54:17 AM
You play those guitars well and you get a nice sound. Now all you need is some lyrics, or some strong riffs over this. Someone mentioned the Dixie Dregs. Not a bad suggestion. Pick up their "best of" CD for a good introduction. Or pick up "The introduction" or "High tension wires" by the Steve Morse band. Steve is the leader of the Dixie Dregs. That's very riff-driven guitar rock. You may get ideas from it.
