Description:
Sitting on the edge of a roof in Tibet, gazing the sky up and down, seeing billions of stars and contemplating about death.....no not my death , but my friends and family who have returned home, where ever that may be.

The spirit of this song &mdash 05/09/07 - 04:40:45 AM
Wisdom is the most prominent form of logic in my opinion and thats what this song represents to me. The loss of so many before us and wanting them here to guide, protect, and comfort us overshadows the fact that they have never left; leaving us to begin the quest to open that presence to us.
Very stimulating song for the morning. Thanks.

interesting textures &mdash 05/09/07 - 10:20:27 AM
Perhaps the afterlife is where all these elements, french horn, violin, pulsing synth, native american flute can come together. Perhaps the afterlife is where we all realize truly that we are all one.

I find your musical expression here (as I always do), stimulating.

Good post ... welcome back to MJ

I felt I was... &mdash 05/09/07 - 12:12:29 PM
...sitting on the roof gazing out into the infinite with you.

Loved the free form flute like echoes from another dimension beckoning us almost seductively to come with it.
Wonderful haunting piece.
Best,
-Bowman

Sounds cinematic &mdash 06/12/07 - 12:54:33 PM
This song made me feel like I was in a movie.
The pulsing synth sound gives it an 80's action movie vibe. This would be the part in the movie right before the big battle goes down. I picture 2 Tibetan warriors planning a strategy or meditating on the rooftop as the burning sun goes down into the night. It would be interesting to add a few random drum splurges like Phil Collins (post-Genesis) 80's stuff, to create a sense of urgency or suspense.
