I finally have a mic that I think is decent. This is the first song that came to mind for me to do with it. Hope you like it and expect more in the future.

i like that it's not all about drugs, sex and money. it has a very tangible message. i like the beats and i love the "i don't need mtv" great tune!

Just a reflection of how I feel. If I lived a life of sex, drugs and violence I'm sure you would probrably hear that in the songs I make (plan on making). Im glad you liked it.

I was hoping that the use of the mic would work. I was basically sitting in the closet with a shirt in front of me and a blanket placed on each side of me. Too bad Ill be leaving soon. In a few months you can expect more.

Great lyrics, and terrific vocal performance. Strong delivery, and thought-provoking ideas. I guess I'd have brought the synth up a little in the mix, but that's just me. Very impressive. Enjoy the new mic! Peace.

I tried to keep the piano and bass prominent in this song. The effects I used playing with the different sounds just kinda ended up sound this way and I stayed with it. Can't wait to record my next jam.

but I think your vocals need some producing. The mic makes your voice so clear, but it sounds like your in front of the song, instead of in it. I guess I'm trying to say that you should mix your vox into the song.

The syth started out as a horn on gb and I continued to manipulate it until it came up with this sound. I definately need to get better at mixing. Thats my one flaw. Thanks for the comment and the listen.

Love the music, the beats are tight and the melody is very nice. The lyrics are fantastic, I really like the meaning behind them. The whole track gets all thumps up and rivals anything the professionals to dish out.

good flow with real substance to the lyric. my kinda hiphop. arrangement is a little sparse, which totally works but also makes me want to play........

Then play on. I made the beat very simple since I wanted the focuse to actually be on the content. The structure of the rhymes were also simple too and so was the cut. It was also the first song that I dropped lyrics that I recorded and "mastered" so I didn't want to worry about too much.

I am very impressed with your broad viewpoint in this and your looking at many aspects rather then falling into a narrow single sided opinion like so many do.
Combining that awareness of the roots of violence with a realistic assesment of the world as it is now is something few minds can grasp. I here echoes of Marvin Gayes ' What's going on ' as well as ' Ball of confusion' and simular work.
