Description:
when I posted "lupin drive", I said that it was the first thing i've constructed from loops. I forgot about this one. This is actually the first thing I did the night I got my mac.
All the animal sounds, people and other sound effects are loops from the gb library.
If you're not wearing headphones, you have ADHD, or you have even remotely refined tastes in the things you choose to listen to, than this is not for you.
An experiment in the truest form; a statement about the life cycle of our planet, and the effect we have had on it's intended course; a little stab at the north americal globe.

...and started doing something else on the computer (something so mundane, it defies description...). 60 seconds later, I was staring blankly at my computer, wishing I had decent headphones, and practically meditating. to you. I didn't know if anyone would understand what I was going for when I posted this. I have another version of it that's actually exactly the same files, but stretched out over thirteen minutes, instead of six and a half. I don't know if I'll post that one though. It's pretty self indulgent. (sometimes i have to step back, looking and listening to my creations, and ask "what the hell is wrong with me?") maybe i'll post it anyway. It was the original, and I almost feel guilty cutting it down like that, you know?
It would be better for meditating, too.

I appreciate your kindness, and I'm glad this little diddy reached someone. I thought it might be too poppy but, i guess i underestimated...
Seriously though, do you think it's strange that I posted a track (I hesitat to call it a song) that was intended to be a brief audio history of the planet, having man introduced, peaking and then fading away, and the only to people to comment so far have spheres as their user i.d.? coincedence? Eh? doubtful.
