Description:
retuned down 42 cents from a taped original.

Lyrics:
When you tell me what I've seen, Rebecca
By listening to what I mean, Rebecca
I turn my face to look away, Rebecca
Turn back around, you always say, Rebecca

And once in awhile I touch my fear
You always watch, you always hear

Once a week when we're alone, Rebecca
Then we speak and I go home, Rebecca
If we were strangers when we meet, Rebecca
I'd clap my hands and I'd stomp my feet, Rebecca

And we could roll and we could rock
But you know me, so we just talk.

Hardware:
Mac Plus, Tascam 4 track, Alesis reverb

Software:
Deluxe Music Construction System (DMCS), Band in a Box

This song was, for me, the first successful song. I wish I still had the MIDI score, because I would definitely re-produce it here.

New version... &mdash 12/02/08 - 05:46:04 PM
I like it. I think this is my favorite song of yours.

So this version is fantastic, but you know, a part of what drew me to the original was that archival, scratchy quality. It went so perfectly with this open, honest song, its charming flute and other accents, and its persistently walking piano.

Such a fan,
*E
