Description
this is an attempt at electronica with an emphasis on the idiosyncrasies of the Chemical Brothers
i started with a voice and came up with a riff and stuck with it, the interesting thing about it is that it ends a half step higher then it begins, which is kinda cool i think
the drums and everything were sequenced and the two sides of the song each have a distinct characteristic which i like
tell me what you think, its called baklava because of all the layers i tried to incorporate within

Actually, those are some great sounds out of that DX7. I've never really got the hang of FM synthesis, but this is good stuff. (Ok, excellent lead sounds, but I still don't like the sounds of FM pads. There's nothing to surpass a couple of nicely detuned sawtooths with a thick filter over them.)
And congratulations on a well baked baklava. I'm enjoying the multiple layers. I can't really hear the half step; the transition between the two halves is pretty smooth. You hear a shift in tonality, but it's not jarring or anything.
Very cool track.
