You know, I do have some crash sounds, and I probably should have thrown them in, but I don't really see me doing a RacecaR 2.0. Oh well...---

the really sad thing is, i actually remember some of those sounds from the
video game. which one was it-pole position? wonder if it's possible to flip
the whole song to play backwards to complete the palindrome concept? ..or
run it forwards/backward at the same time? crazy, man-crazy

I may not be able to find loops at the moment, but I do have an over abundance of gaming loops. Not all of them make great songs - rather, I'm not good at making all of them into songs. However, I just wanted to babble here in a long paragraph aboot nuthin'.---

Its different. Its got some great moments. Yeah maybe
some crashes would add to it. I love the 4 3 rock lick. Is
that yours or a sample?

I just thought of the coolest music video for this. It's
the Indy 500 and you've got all these real cars, but
one pixelated pole position car, kickin' everyone's
butt, heheh!

Yes, an experiment and a very cool one. Would fit
nicely between a couple of tracks on a CD.

I used to have an animated gif of an older racing game that I was going to use but I can no longer find it. I tried using my friend's old (and now sold) picture of his Challenger, but that doesn't seem to show up on this page. Perhaps I will get a screenshot of the arcade Pole Position (considering that's the sound source) and plop that in here instead.
Anyway, enough of my babble. If you could make the video you were talkin' about, that would be awesome.---

There are 2 previous aracade classics. Crackman and Ode To An Intruder are both out here on MacJams. As for new ones, I've got some samples but not sure what to do with them yet...---
