A cheery ditty about narcissistic self aborption - manic depression style. the humor is intentional! my homage to Badfinger and other riff-pop bands from Big Star onwards.

Good performance and production... it kind of reminds me of Joe Jackson's stuff. I like that guitar melody that you have on this one

I loved "Love Remains" and then I hear this one and I'm blown away. Agree with the J.Jackson comment, but I think it's more Stelly Dan, which I love.
How is the City these days?(I'm from there)
You have to be my favorite Macjammer. I'll check out your other stuff later.

Loved the texture of this tune. Very sparce and raw then smooth and rich. "The highs are real high, and the lows..."

and pop brilliance. such a cool collection of instruments and the mix is terrific. Love the big instrumental riff lines before and during the vocals.

You have such a great voice. Your ear for the perfect hook & harmonies is outstanding. I like it. I'm envious :-)

damn fine vocals -- not over sung and not over done. Bravo for the compelling performance and lasting hum-ability. :-) I'm a fan. We don't have enough harmonica 'round here.

This sounds very much like a song you'd have expected the Eagles to do, but with a little more aggressive use of sounds from the 21st century added to their already full sound.
This is a keeper for me, I love it. Of course I was young when the Eagles were young so it really works for me.

Great job on the mix and the song as a whole.
