The keyboard sound is good, and the lyrics match the mood evoked by the music. Nice longing mood running through the song. I guess I'd bring the bass line & percussion up a bit, if I were mixing it, and it could use some other "color". Have you thought about adding guitar? But these are just my nit-picks! A nice song. Hi Djama, This is my first post of a song on here and also my first composition using a midi ( still not sure of everything I can do with it) so I'm open to suggestion and thanks for your comments. I've never played keyboard before last Christmas when I got the midi as a gift, so I'm taking it a bit at a time and am amazed what can be done with a few chords. I only recently found this site and am truly in awe of the talents here. I visualised dozing on my bed on a warm summer evening drifting in and out of some dream state or other.Thanks again for your comments and glad you like the song, M

There is something so David Lynch about this. I can almost hear it in one of his films. Since i know that not everyone cares for that sort of thing, please let me explain that this is a huge compliment coming from me.

Hitting your first. It reminds me of an obscure Double Fantasy song, ya know John Lennon.
Lyrics are good, song is good, but the recording needs to be improved, even for me. I know this was your first, just checking out everybody's first. Well-written song.

Glad you liked this and strange that I only came back here myself earlier today for a listen and I was pleased with the sound, but would have liked to update/redo it. The snag is... I can't reach those high notes no matter how I try LOL... so it will have to stay in the annals of my history I'm afraid, unless I get a voice transplant, cheers M

I think you have a good voice, but I think a female voice would work nicely on this song. Who know? I just thinking out loud.
