this is great! You've got your Spanish going, too! Very funny song. Clever.

I was and am still confused by the title, though. I was really afraid there would be some culturally offensive material here because of the term in the title, but it was all the opposite. Rather, it's poking fun at the offenders. What gives with the title, then? did you mean last of the skinheads?

Oops. I must admit I didn't think of the offensive implications of "redskin" as I had entirely something else in mind. And besides, you know me, would I ever write something offensive, huh ?

the "redskin" is the "red skinhead" or the anarcho/communist skinhead opposed to the fascist skinhead also- and rather- known as "bonehead", who is considered as a traitor to the real skinhead ethics. In my worldview he's located on the next step on the evolutionnary ladder, as the "redskin" is not a racist.

Was BK on vacation in Jamaica when he wrote this? It was a surprize to hear as i would never expect it from you guys. Somehow the initial shock dissolves moments after you sing 21st century (the first time) when the signature bassline pokes it's head through. The Ben Sherman chorus is pretty funny, in fact the whole song has a real tongue in cheekyness to it. I sat with my jaw dropped for a few moments, but then in true HM fashion you shined without having to say any of the typical ska lyics tendencies. I also like how you sang this one. A softer treatment like you did on seahorses (speaking of distinctive signature basslines).

As by-products of the early eighties, we have been exposed to the short-lived ska craze of Specials (they ruled), Madness and the like. We also have a soft spot for the original jamaican 60s ska, which in me is aggravated by a taste for the mod/skinhead subcultures. Fred Perry is what I wear, if I'm not sporting my Hamlet machines shirts. So this was fatal something like that song happened.

atleast learn how to sing like minor threat/sublime before you try to rip them off...... dude i'm just totally playing with you! super cool guitar.....sounds like somthing i did like 7 years ago. learn how to play with no effects. it will make you a better player.
