Loops
Good use of loops. It's not always easy to have something well
adjusted come out of loop use. This works well for this song.

The base in the middle section sounds a bit out of place.
But that's my only complaint.

Loops
I agree with most of the above. This was a very creative use of loops to
make a song that sounded minimally like it actually was made out of all
loops. I thought the piano part sounds a bit out of place next to the
strings, but I liked the sort of spacey, synth'd feel that came near the
end, before the return to the string parts.

Thanks for the comments guys! I've thought about it for a while, and after
relistening many times to this piece, I actually find myself more attached to
the bass, and I was sort of going for the 70's ballad contrasting w/ the string
quartet feel of the intro/conclusion. So, I don't think I'll be changing anything
soon about this, but I really like the dialog. My wife likes this one quite a bit
too, so that's what I find important. (to my health) ;-)

I love string quartets! (as you can tell from my Forge a New Life songs). I
don't think its so much that the middle is out of place as it is that the
transitions (especially heading into the final recapitulation) is not smooth.
Maybe set it up better or create a few bars of linkage. (And it's great to hear
that your wife likes your stuff. Was this tune a Valentine?)

Loops
I think the looped parts fit nicely together. The
mixing is excellent.

Good job!
I'm guessing that you didn't play the loops; you just brought them together?

Anyway, the song itself seems quite nice. Very beautiful loops, put together nicely.
