When B let me hear his first mix of Michael2's song, he invited me to set some vocals to it.
My impression of the piece was visual--something accompanying a science fiction film, or to do with space travel.
As I went to do the recording, I visualized a spaceship heading home in the initial minutes, an intercepted conversation, the anticipation of returning home to familiar people and places.

This version gets my vote and comment.
I listened to the original and then Michael2 and now this seems to hit the nail on the head: almost HAL-like additionals vocals, great percussion (almost a unique class of sound there, great), seemingly less background/intended noise on the track.
