Way cool &mdash 05/23/07 - 08:52:11 AM
I think you're singing in English, but I'll just take the lyrics as part of the whole.

This song is a big canvas, spread on the bass and drum, where occasionally the artist applies a splatter of paint. The onlookers wonder, where is that piano going, that guitar lick? And in the end they haven't gone anywhere, but it turned out to be a painting anyway.

Very cool.

Thanks &mdash 05/23/07 - 01:15:58 PM
Thank you for commenting, I have been listening to your music and am very impressed by the width and variety of what you do. I am very embarrassed by my 'singing' so layer it with lots of effects trying to get it to sound in tune which makes it hard to understand. Doesn't matter - the lyrics are not important.

Thanks again
Len

My Kind of HEAVY &mdash 07/20/07 - 09:14:55 AM
Dark and exceptional bass line and drums. You really do have an enviable knack for beats and thick, gnarly bass sounds.

I've had to take some time to let this song sink in before I commented. The piano and guitar bursts were what took the longest to comprehend. I think it adds to the success of the song. I tried to imagine it without it and it just wouldn't work.

I enjoy your patient approach to building this soundscape. You challenge monotony and are the victor!

Well Bob... &mdash 07/20/07 - 10:57:38 AM
That was a surprise. This was my first extremely nervous venture with improvised lyrics that no one can understand. I still quite like it.
Thanks again Bob - working on our collab - I hope I haven't changed it too much for you.
Cheers

Change Is Good &mdash 07/20/07 - 12:55:01 PM
Like I said before, you could delete everything I did and send it back new, and I'd be happy!

very nice of you to comment. No all loops I'm afraid. Would play more these days and not use so many loops.

Loved the rythm and voice but felt the instrumentals a bit awkward. Would have loved to hear smother instrumentals. Just my opinion - I'm new at this.

That was a surprise &mdash 10/13/07 - 04:59:03 AM
This was my first song in garageband and basically done off the cuff and I didn't really know how to do much (not much better now).
Thanks for listening and commenting - appreciated.

Len's first &mdash 01/28/08 - 01:08:49 PM
I've been hitting my favorites firsts. And I'm not disappointed here. Really dreamy, and random. Reminds me of something I'd hear in a deep dark dingy Parisian night club and their eyes meet.......and so on.

Good job Len

Really nice &mdash 01/28/08 - 03:12:50 PM
to know that I am one of your favourites Dave. Funnily enough I still like this one even though its all loops and I had no idea at all about using GB.
Thanks a lot Dave - appreciated.
Cheers
