I had the pleasure of doing this song with the Master, Mcboy, last summer. I was so honored and flattered when he agreed to play on my track. I posted it too quickly, and never really liked the mix. After a bit, I pulled the song down, with the idea of re-mixing it. So many things have come up, and I finally got to it. Good timing too, as the master has begun to post with us again, and I was so happy to hear his new music.
Anyway here is a new mix of McZorro...I added some more percussion, and basically re-mixed from the ground up.....when i played this for the band, they really liked it and we now do this tune, or a permutation of it live, and it is really a blast to play. Look for a post of the band doing the tune very soon!....I am hoping to get McB on that one too....and maybe have some of his fantastic percussionists add the real fire.
Hope you enjoy...I am playing all the acoustic...as you can tell by the slow, stumbling notes...the first electric you hear on the bridge is me, dead center. Mcboy comes in on the right channel, and i go to the left....
