Seems like you were drawn to circuit dialog synth too - or is it something else I'm hearing. Once again you've built a really intriguing piece form very few discreet elements - something I have trouble doing. Looking forward to hearing you LIOLI entry. [ Reply to This ]
Thanks, bud, &mdash 05/23/07 - 08:21:32 AM
that synth you hear is a stepper synth, like the circuit analog, but I did some noodling with its parameters.
Do you think this needs another element, my girlfriend said the something similar to your "very few elements" comment. I'm wondering the tune is a bit starved for variety.
thanks,

Interesting use of beats. Patient backdrop for the radio spots. Quite different from your other efforts. Thanks for sharing.
PS When is the invasion going to happen? [ Reply to This ]

Long time no . . . cyberspatial digitation? Whatever. Yeah, I've been listening to AFX's Analord EP's obsessively for almost a month and the electro bug grabbed me. Trying to work the guitar and other "real" instruments back into all this glitchiness is an interesting task.
I don't know when the invasion's going down. I've been bugging SETI for months about it, but they won't tell me what they're hearing in the microwave background around Alpha Centauri. Alas.
cheers,
