Description:
back to the "Gnostic disco" wannabes. It had nothing to do with the rest of the songs but I rather like it actually. I was unconvinced by the singing at first, but I did worse I guess.

Lyrics:
In a party
You will find me
Leaning on the kitchen sink
Sometimes pretending to think
sometimes opening the door
Of the refrigerator
To some lady
That won’t see me

And whatever I do
How hard I try not to
I feel as bad
I’ve always had
I’ve got the blue genes
Of a teen

I drink a cup
Where there’s a crack
Let my spine slide against the wall
A cold ashtray smell in my soul
Lean lonely on the balcony
Listen to laughters as slowly
They go up
in smoke in my back

and giving feedback to this song. Cold ashtray smell, yes, I suppose this more or less comes from experience !

something to be said for your play on words with "blue genes" - clever

I always wondered if having a foreign accent and not being too sure about the way words are pronounced didn't make it easier to play on words.
