This is a work in progress, so this is not the final result. have to think about what else I want to have in it, but I just had to post it, although it's not finished.
(for example the vocals needs some changes)

anyway, this song became very long because of the lyrics. hope you like it. :)

What a voice!!! OMG I just got chills (Im in love), you sound like Ani Difranco in some moments, you really must post the final soon...looking forward to it, I m loving this musically, lyrically and especially vocally!

can't wait for the final version. I'd bring the strings
in earlier - this piece is so strong though with the
vocals, it doesn't need anything more IMO.

Still some occassional popping on those 'p' 'b's on the vocal recording, which is a shame, as they are best to take away as you record with a pop-shield (which can be improved as inexpensive as a coat-hanger meshed with hose).

Excellent.

even thou its in its a work in process it sounds fab. Nice finger work over a cool chord pattern. Your voice lends warmth and character to a wonderful track.

Some wonderful lines, juxtapositions of thought, magnetic return to the "he's all I really want." This deserves development, spectacular potential. Consider getting a pop-stopper; adding builds slightly earlier (like your synth strings) yet keeping the slow build feel, creeping up on you before you know its there (climaxing perhaps with tympani and french horns adding in) since I love the way more orchestra could go together with your really nice guitar groove; consider adding the the Dear God line not only if he doesn't hate you but if he ever even noticed you before; make sure the track doesn't cut off before the reverb tail fades. Excellent start.
