Real nice, Brent &mdash 05/29/07 - 07:38:31 PM
You've made this hymn perfect for a modern church worship set. Real nice harmony, too. Peace and blessings to you, bro.

Impeccable Harmonies. &mdash 05/30/07 - 08:28:17 PM
This may be an odd way for me to put this, but this performance sort of brings together the "O Brother Where Art Thou" generation with the Calvary Chapel "Lord I Lift Your Name on High" generation. What I mean is that it is basically old time gospel music that is done in such a way as to be relevent to the modern praise and worship genre that got its start in the 1970s Jesus Freak movement. The guitar work is very good, but it's really the vocal harmonies that make this performance stand out for me. I personally could probably play that guitar part, but there is no way I could sing the harmonies. Kudos!

Thank you, this is a beautiful song, which I NEVER heard before. Don't think it is well known here in Sweden (otherwise I guess I'd heard and sung it).

The song has that perfect old time feeling (wonder if anyone can make a song like this today). And you have saved so much of that old time feeling. You have made a remarkable rendition. I am so grateful that this is now in my music collection! Agan: Thank you! And God bless us all!
