Description:
An experimental track with an 80ies feeling including a famous broadcast audio sample. 95 percent EXS24, no loops. Still a work in progress ... any comment appreciated.
Lyrics:
The song contains a well-known controversial audio sample of the planet's most weighty man (concerning the latter history's most weighty day). Chances are pretty good, that additional lyrics and vocals will follow...

Cool synth tone. &mdash 05/31/07 - 12:08:58 PM
Reminds me of an underground industrial band I used to listen to called Deitiphobia. This needs further listenings before I can comment on the song structure, but so far I really like this piece. [ Reply to This ]

thanks Aaron for stopping and commentating. I've never heard about the band Deitiphobia before ... but i will change this! [ Reply to This ]
a la mode &mdash 05/31/07 - 01:40:46 PM
Alex, this is a lovely sweeping track. Is the voice sample for real? That's stunning.
I'm now torn between this and converging to play with ... too many good things to choose from.
This reminds me a bit of depeche mode - I can really hear Dave gahan singing over this.
Great track

yes, the sample is real (you can get such files from several "G.W.-fan-"sites (i was about to kick it out again). Thanks for the DM comparison ;) Feel free to choose ... presently i think i'll have to work it out.

One Terrible Pilot &mdash 06/02/07 - 06:22:39 AM
One terrific tune.
Steve's right about this song having more room to sing in it. Steve, I think you should try this one for sure.
Normally I don't care for sampled vocals like this one, but, it's too perfect. Glad you resisted the urge to repeat it 10 more times throughout the song.
Good job Alex. [ Reply to This ]
Sample &mdash 06/03/07 - 05:24:06 AM
thanks, bob. I thought about kicking it out (or add some more). Your comment assures me to leave it like this (if it will suit to Steve's ideas). [ Reply to This ]
Nice mix here &mdash 06/12/07 - 11:43:21 AM
I like the way you mix the various synth lines in this piece. They keep the song interesting and yet each line fits so well in the song none of them seem to out of place. Well done.
I think the song would do well with a tempo change, or some other variation. Though, this may just be my own taste for movement in a tune.
Nice work,
