My bass player was at my apt. and told me to let some drums go in GB, I did, and he played to 'em, then I butchered it with the guitar and synths

too have access to such a good bass player, for just
jamming this sounds good. Did the bass player also use a
Pod?

Yes hes used the Bass version.. I posted this basically to show him off.. It's
really not worthy of such a good score, you people are nice! (cool). I am a
total neophyte to home recording! My mixing sux!

The beginning sort of came out of nowhere....as though it
was truncated somehow.

Great bass playing! Good funk style. Excellent git playing
also! Good solid foundation on the bass and nice
improvisatory feel to the guitar.

I found that the mix needs to be balanced better. The
drums and bass were fairly up front while the guitar
sounded very far away. Seems like everything should be
up front more equally.

The ending was likewise chopped off suddenly in the
middle of a chord.

The material here is good, I'd really like to hear a better
mixed version.

I agree with Cameron about the mix. Some stuff is too far away. Bring it
forward. Otherwise, a splendid soundscape. Wow.
