Description:
Track - 1
Band - The Fig Mints
Album - Solipsistic Recreation
This is the second EP I'm releasing on Mac Jams, for free. Some of the material has been posted here before, though I've done some spit and polish on all the tracks for this release. The tracks will pop up over the next few days. Check back to get the next installments. Enjoy, -g

Duran Duran, eh? &mdash 06/02/07 - 12:42:01 AM
Never had that comparison before,
but I'll be your electric barbarella
if need be. Thanks for listening.

I wish that I could play as sharply &mdash 06/02/07 - 11:16:51 AM
as Rush. Unfortunately, I'm too quickly distracted to pull that off as well as I'd like.
thanks for listening skean,

RIff &mdash 06/02/07 - 05:17:24 PM
I detect and approve of the polish. I like the main riff a lot. The middle part provides some interesting tension. Percussion is right on. Thanks for sharing. [ Reply to This ]
Your approval is appreciated, &mdash 06/02/07 - 05:50:47 PM
but did you notice any of the spit?
Thanks for listening,

I feel gobbed - but not to Polish &mdash 06/02/07 - 06:25:01 PM
This has such a great lo tech prog feel - really reminds me of Henry Cow and Fred Frith etc. Like King Crimson off the steroids meets knotty players on the lower east side circa 1986.
I can't see the picture all that well - but the plant on the left looks like mint - and if the other thing has anything to do with figs I'll be damned. I do like the band title. [ Reply to This ]
You close to being damned, &mdash 06/03/07 - 11:13:12 AM
but the picture on the right isn't anything about figs.
Keep guessin'
