Description:
This is a new version of my earlier posted tune with the same title. Only this one is somewhat funked up a tad... trying to make it fit the repetoir of my band.

Nice work. I like the acoustic guitar stuff in there, it works real nice with the harp.
You always blend your vocal in so nice too.
The guitar solo is not what I've come to exect from you although i really liked it. It fits the song and brings in kinda a country feel.

...with headphones on, you become aware of the different bits that are interweaving, acoustic and electric... And there's an interweaving quality to the vocals here as well...
I think you're getting into a territory that to my prejudiced ears sounds like "folk-soul" or "folk-funk".... a nice combination of rhythm and melody from different traditions...
I love the heartfelt quality of the lyric, too...

You have a great flair for soft rockin feelin tunes. Also I enjoyed some of those acoustic funky licks with the acoustical guitar.

You have an intriguing voice and for some reason the timbre reminds me of Donald Fagen. Nice wee tune, easy vibe. Solid. In an effort to comply with your recent forum post bemoaning the high marks songs receive I'm going to give it a

It's a brilliant song and exellent guitar work here.
I also agree on your qoute by Albert Einstein (sometimes it would be nice if some of the good things happend).
One thing I wonder about is why you call the genre Funk. To me it's a happy blues melody ... You got here.
