This song was all done with my fingers and no pick. I play a lot with my finger but general keep a pick in my month just in case I need it. :-) Thanks for the comment.

I love the compression you're getting on the total mix...I'm guessing this is more of the well-thought-of effect of Ozone 3...

Musically, I just really like everything. I like the sound and the particular beat being played by the drums, and the tone and the steady underpinning of the bass....

And then there's that electric guitar over the top. I love the tone you're getting on the electric guitar, and also the compression on that particular instrument...

Finally, I really enjoy WHAT you're playing on the guitar... Should've started with that, I suppose, except that I just came to this tune from investigating Ozone 3 on the Internet, AND with the thought on my head that I'd like to hear some electric guitar playing... And here it was... Clean attack, neat attack, nice phrasing...

Anyway, I like it top to bottom is what I'm saying...

Thanks Ed, I remixed this with Ozone 3 and really like it a lot. I started using Ozone 3 a few months ago and it has really improved the sound of my songs. It's a real nice mastering tool. I keep learning more about as I use it. Glad you like the mix.

Good to hear your lix around here again! You chose to leave the reverb off the guitar, which gives it an up-close-n-personal feel to it. It also keeps the mix clear and uncluttered, works really well. Since you used your fingers, I have no nit-picks :-) Hope life is going well for you... let's hear some more of those rippling riffs!

...it's really great to see you back on board John...I sincerely hope we'll be seeing more of you around here, more often, from now on!

Yet another Ozone disciple! (Which you're clearly becoming a master of!) It certainly fattens the mix, I particularly love the drum kit's pattern, which, for me, is only established at the end of this piece. I'd love to hear the drums, (and bass ) perhaps, established in the intro for a wee bit longer- prior to the lead guitar's entrance.

In any case...this ditty really kicks a.s!

Hey Alf, thanks for the comments and it's nice to have something posted again. I have had a lot of things going on that has kept me away. I have a few songs in the wings so maybe there won't be such a long time in between, for the next one. Ozone 3 is a really nice plug in and makes a huge difference in the final mix. Nice to have the title 'Dr. Chak' back. :-)

Thanks David, always look forward to your comments. This year have been very dynamic and my time has been taken up with a number of things keeping me away. Hopefully it won't be so long between songs next time. Still it does'nt matter how long one is away, still can't get use to the drive by bombings. Thx for the listen and comments Bud, I'm glad you liked the song. I was pretty happy with my playing, it was all done with my fingers and no pick. Playing that way gives me a lot of options for different sounds.

Man, it's been waay too long since you posted a track! That's some great guitar-playing there! It's neat to read that you did this with fingers, no pick; I mostly play electric guitar with no pick too, probably because I'm too lazy to work on improving my pick technique! Anyway, this is very fine, and I hope you post more music here soon.

I see some coot(s) gave this fives, which is ridiculous. I'm givin' it tens! That'll learn the coots of this world! Or maybe not, but what the heck.

and I'm glad you enjoyed the song. Yeah it's been a while since I posted, I've been busy with other parts of life. I have a couple things in the wings that I may post soon. I like playing with my fingers, sort of picked up on it from Jeff Beck. As for the 5's I don't get it, seem every time post a song someone bombs it. Anyway, thx for coming around and putting some new life in the song.
