Like it
Very, very cool vocals. Guitars are also very good. The bass is a little off, I think, but a must say again outstanding vocals.

ahhhh............
the mighty shure sm58.
there simply is no better microphone for the live feel and sound of rock. so many others have tried to make one like it, but fall flat, literally....this is a good song. alot of emotion, and it is definately radio ready, albiet with a big studio polish. your vocals are very smooth and well placed within the music..the guitars are not overwhelming, and add, rather than take over the melody.
good tunage, my brothers.

wdmhfl a sm58
Thanks r.a.d. – there is certainly no better mic to jam down your throat than the venerable SM58 – thanks for the kind words!

Good song!
Excellent vocals and instrumentation, but as already pointed out, there's something amiss with the bass. I suspect you have a timing enhancer on it, which can really stuff up timing if the bass part is not played straight on the beat.
Fantastic vox!

wising up
If Wisers is a timing enhancer than YES, that could be the problem…otherwise, since we record live, the only thing I can see is that Jared plays how he feels it – a Dionysian devil, keeping time with the blinking -12:00- that flashes acoss our collective minds…
Thanks Neil !!! – maybe we’ll make a song about keeping time…maybe…

I'm so freakin late!
How have I missed your tracks -I freakin' love this. The vocals are outstanding Ryan - bit of Bono meets Ian Astbury, but with a character all of their own, and real passion. Great guitar work on this.

Jeez - I'm humming this tune already - -what a killer. Great work guys.

Very Nice
I can hear the pumpkins if I try really hard but U2 jumps right out at me. In my opinion, that band has not the easiest feel to capture. This song has a clean sound. I like the mix as well - pretty even through my headphones and good song too. Congrats.

Groovalicious
What a cool tune! I hear more Bono-vox than anything else and I'm so impressed. Super expressive vocals, crunchy cool guitar licks.... all you need is a really cool banner and you guys will put Canada on the map!

Whoa!
Great tuneage here Ryan. You're almost a dead ringer for Bono in this (with a dsah of the lead singer of "Spirit Of The West" thrown in for good measure). Nice crunchy guitars! I must say though, I don't get what the bass player is doing. What's with the timing? Seems a tad off...Anyway, a nice tune overall boys!

Be well!
Mokus said 893 days ago (June 14th, 2007)
Thanks Micheal !
Barry sets down the lines, Jared scribbles all over them, then I spill some color across the page – it might not be art, music or good – but damn, it's fun!

"FUN"
There it is...the most important element. Without that there's just no point. It's obvious you guys had a good time playing this. Who cares what people think it is?

Rock on!

cool
Hi Ryan, Barrie and ?.
Boy Ryan you do sound like a little like Bono(young).
Yeah I miss those days of " LURE ".
Even Carole commented that this sounded alot like our old band type music without Dan!!!
In most of your songs the guitar/vocals are great!!!

Man that SM58 sounds really great! Best I've ever heard. Guitar sounds really cool. Lavalamp is right. Bass is off. But still really cool.
