Description
When I was a young man coming of age and deciding what I wanted to do with my life, I became enthralled with the radio. In the small town in which I lived, listening to the radio at night was my lifeline to the world. At night, with the help of the Ionosphere, I could listen to country music from WSM in Nashville, or the sounds of New Orleans on WWL, and of course rock and roll from Cleveland on KYW or from Chicago on WLS or WCFL, or tune in the Motor City on CKLW in Windsor, and of course I could always dream of the Big Apple by tuning in Cousin Brucie on WABC. If I listened long enough I could catch the early morning market reports on WOWO in Fort Wayne. On a good night, I could tune in French Canadian Stations and even WOW in Omaha. St Louis, Boston, Philly, Buffalo, Memphis; they all came right into my bedroom via the old Zenith that I had bought for 25 bucks.
I dreamed of becoming the voice on the radio .
Thanks to the Ionospheric Propagation of AM radio, a young man could dream.
This song is my tribute to the Ionosphere.

Good track. Strong engineering, I especially like the drum sound.
