This is what I love about MacJams. I click on a song that doesn't look like something that would normally interest me, but my gamble is rewarded with something like this. The sitar sounds pretty freaking good. You managed to produce the beat in such a way that it drives the song forward without being excessively bassy like those cars where the doors rattle from the sub woofers. I'm not sure what you did structurally with this song: it's highly repetitive but somehow keeps moving forward. Good job. It would be nice to hear some slightly understated rapping over it. thoughts from the bull... a very smart and infectious piece. i like the stylized approach to the genre without being too complicated. it moves along really well and catches you early on. i agree with the idea that some kind of vocal treatment might be welcomed for the piece, but still a terrific piece on its own! go sox!
