Description:
I know I am missing Nocturne Numero Tres. It is in my computer somewhere but I am not yet happy wth the way it sounds. This one just came out of my fingers without a lot of planning, just feeling....and I really liked it.I hope you like it too. Ivory cames with 3 pianos, but each one has many different variations. I used one of ther Bosendorfers with a bright sound. I was not sure if it was redlining (it sounded like it but did not show in the graphic) and ended up reducing the master volume a bit. Thanks for listening.

I love your music... &mdash 06/10/07 - 02:52:22 PM
...it is warm and friendly, full of twinkling happiness, has some "old school at its best" touch. Do you have a score from your nocturnes? I would like to play them on my next cocktail party...

The Boesendorfer is a great choice here, not such sparkling attack like the Steinway, but wonderful warm colours in the mids. Great!

Thanks a lot for sharing!

Greetings,

Bernd

Hi Bernd &mdash 06/16/07 - 09:00:42 PM
Ivory comes with so many different variations from its 3 core pianos its difficult to choose because they all sound very nice. Not only that, but each variation has many parameters that can be adjusted if so desired. Since my goal is to make music, I haven't really tried to change anything and rather play the pianos as they come. Thanks for listening1

compilation of neo classic and contempary expressions. Nice tone and quality in your recording and porduction. I have a down load of this and will enjoy it as it is played.

The is very pleasant to here &mdash 06/10/07 - 11:16:34 PM
So well done it seems to me. Love the phrase "This one just came out of my fingers". That is pretty darn good for just coming out of your fingers. Seems like there is a lot of depth in composition, phrasing etc.

Well done and bravo!

Truly a great track.

The piano sound is excellent, but what is stunning is the playing!

I like the way it breathes. Great composition, great playing.

Well, well, well... &mdash 06/16/07 - 10:31:45 PM
...there ya go! I knew from the first note that you've thrown your clavinova away!!! This is really wonderful, Enrique. Yes. Yes. The Ivory sounds great (thought I'd like to hear just a tad more sustain. Keep that pedal down!)But the composition of No. 4 is marvelous: full of life, inventive twists and turns, and very much of a Chopinesque salon style. You seem to have such an affinity for this kind of music and it is delightful to hear your contemporary take... I am very happy that you took your Christmas present early. Just think: now you can write some wonderful things for the next 6 months! It is such a blessing for us all to hear your inventive compositions. And your skill at playing them is just so pleasant to hear as well. I hope you find No. 3 and I am already looking forward to No. 5. Delightful in every way.
Peace.
Paul

Lovely stuff... &mdash 07/03/07 - 08:21:37 PM
Sure wish I could play like this Enrique. Very pretty. I especially like the "bounding" sections...and the glorious return to the main theme near the end. Bravissimo!

Be well!
